This year is the 9th annual Womens “Spa for the Body and Soul” co-sponsored in joint coordination by a number of area Jewish Womens groups.
New for this year: The event will be held at Shabbos House for the first time, and instead of a featured speaker (as in most years past) for inspiration, this year’s event will feature an uplifting concert by a young singer and songwriter Sara Hecht, originally from Australia.
There’s a cost for women from the community, but there’s no charge for students (thanks to hosting and sponsorship by Shabbos House and UAlbany Hillel). The event features a concert, a gourmet luncheon, and spa treatments. It’s a really nice opportunity to meet a spectrum of women from the community.
If you plan on attending, please call or email Raizy or join the Facebook Event so we can properly prepare. Also, some student volunteers can be helpful, let us know if you can.
For those coming by car, please park in the Dutch Quad Student/Gold Lot, as there will be very limited parking available at Shabbos House.
