SUNDAY NIGHT 10/16 FIRST NIGHT IN THE SUKKAH

MONDAY 10/17 FIRST LULAV SHAKES AND LUNCH IN THE SUKKAH

Prayers 9:30am. Come/go as your schedule permits. We call it a revolving door Minyan and revolving door lunch. The first lunch in the Sukkah we have subs and salads and always will have vegetarian option, too. Stop by anytime for your first Lulav shakes! Let’s get the “Call to ARMS” going…

MONDAY NIGHT 10/17 SECOND NIGHT IN THE SUKKAH

We’re going with an Israeli theme tonight. We’re thinking felafel and shwarma (not on a spit, but oven prepared) or maybe shnitzel, with pita and pickles and salads and humus and tehina. We’re putting together some Israeli Sukkot songs, too.

TUESDAY 10/18 SECOND LUNCH IN THE SUKKAH… AND MORE LULAV SHAKES

Yes, it’s a Mitzvah to shake the Lulav each day of Sukkot (aside for Shabbat). Holiday prayers 9:30am with Torah reading, Hallel, Musaf and Hoshanaot circuit. Stay tuned for the Lunch menu…

SUKKAH TRICYCLE ON CAMPUS – WED 10/19, THURS 10/20, FRIDAY 10/21

Stay tuned for times and locations. Most likely around midday at the Podium above the Main Fountain. We’ll post more right here and on Facebook once we have a better idea. May stop over a bit around some of the Quads and on Empire, too. Stop in for a quick blessing and bite in the Sukkah and for a Lulav Shake!!

AND THE SUKKAH FOR KOSHER DINING AT INDIAN QUAD!

Kosher Dining at Indian has a Sukkah set up outside Indian Quad, so you can eat your Kosher meals in the Sukkah!

FRIDAY NIGHT 10/21 IN THE SUKKAH

Hoping for good weather. Friday night may be the greatest night in the Sukkah with an bigger turnout than on the holiday nights. Prayers 7pm and Dinner at 8pm.

SHABBAT LUNCH 10/22 IN THE SUKKAH

For Shabbat we’re back to 10am prayers and a 12:30pm Lunch, keep the Sukkot spirit going, but no Lulav shakes on Shabbat!

SUNDAY NIGHT 10/23 LAST NIGHT IN THE SUKKAH

It’s technically no longer Sukkot, but Chabad enjoys one last lingering night in the Sukkah on Shmini Atzeret. Prayers 7pm include a quick Hakafot in solidarity with Israel (its Simchat Torah for them that night) followed by dinner in the Sukkah.

MONDAY 10/24 SHMINI ATZERET

Special prayers in the Musaf, we start 9:30am, Lunch in the Sukkah starts at 12. Revolving door, come and go as you can.

MONDAY NIGHT 10/24 THE BIG PARTY – SIMCHAT TORAH!!!!

Don’t miss this one night of tremendous joyous energy, dancing with the Torah on Simchat Torah. We start around 8pm and try to keep the celebration going with songs and dances and good vibes until midnight! There’s a huge food buffet and a special collectible souvenir.

TUES 10/25 – SIMCHAT TORAH DAY, THE AFTER-PARTY

This is our longest service of the year, rivaling Yom Kippur! But we serve food and nibbles throughout and its much more joyous and more interactive. We start around 9:30am and by the time we get through Hakafot, Aliyot, completing the Torah and starting anew, the special Musaf, last of the long holiday season — the sit down portion of lunch starts around 2 or 2:30pm.

And that’s it.

We take down the Sukkah on Wednesday 10/26…
