The Womens Spa for the Body and Soul is now in its 11th year in the Capital Region, an annual gathering of women representing the spectrum of our regional Jewish community. It’s a collective effort of several area Jewish womens groups, and Capital Chabad Centers as well as the Jewish Federation.
This year’s event will be at Shabbos House (for the second year). It features food blogger Chana Apfelbaum of Crown Heights, known online as “Busy in Brooklyn”, in addition to spa treatments and activities, as well as a delicious luncheon and wonderful opportunity to connect and interact with women in the community and be part of something special.
The event is on Sunday, February 28th, 2016. Spa treatments and activities are 12:30-1:30, with the main program and luncheon from 1:30-3:30pm.
Cost is $20pp prepaid by Feb 21st, or $25 at the door. There is no charge for UAlbany students.
Parking is limited at Shabbos House, and we try to minimize event parking on neighborhood streets. Please use the Dutch Quad Gold/Student Lot. There will be shuttle cars going back and forth between the Dutch Lot and Shabbos House. Thank you!
See the “Busy in Brooklyn” at the Spa for the Body and Soul Facebook event page for more info and updates and to indicate your “going” or “interest” so we can be best prepared!
