A. Saratoga Water is not (yet) a corporate sponsor of Shabbos House. Why do we serve it? When we searched around for a distributor to deliver cases of water and soda (now seltzer, since we stopped serving soda on a regular basis at Shabbos House) to Shabbos House every month or two so we could avoid extra schlepping each week, we came up with a beer distributor who can only deliver products they are under contract with. Since he carries Saratoga Water in 1.5 liter bottles, it works for us. Besides, it’s local and it’s a great-tasting product. By the way, this may explain why a big Heineken or Miller truck pulls into our driveway, 3-4 times a year.
