It’s the 6th year in the new building. It’s hard to imagine Shabbos House without it.
$150,000 raised in the year 2015 will burn our mortgage and close the Building Fund that built the new Shabbos House. There is under $300,000 left to the original $1,650,000 cost of the new Shabbos House, and the Massry Family and other matching donors are eager to get this debt cleared up in 2015.
[thermometer raised=90000 target=150000]
Many thanks to all who already generously contributed and got us to this point. Thanks to the Rohr, Massry and Rosenblum families for their major building dedications, and to all parents, alumni, faculty and friends of Shabbos House who collectively contributed $1,250,000 from the start of the building campaign until now.
This is the final push! Please “do your share” to get the new Shabbos House paid for! As with the original Building Fund campaign there are multiple levels that people can contribute:
$250 “Quarter-Shares”
$500 “Half-Shares”
$1,000 “Shares”
$1,800 “Mezuzah Shares”
or building dedications or amount of your choice.
Click here to make a contribution online or mail a check to Shabbos House – Chabad Center. Please indicate that this is for “Building Fund 2015” so it can be applied toward the match. Contributions can be paid out monthly, or quarterly.
Permanent recognition in the new Shabbos House of building dedications and contributors will be made at the completion of this campaign.
We obviously have to keep the Operating Fund going this year as well to pay for Shabbos dinners and holidays and everything else we do, but this is an exciting opportunity to eliminate the outstanding building debt, which is a significant burden on the annual operating budget of Shabbos House.
Thank you!
