A. Glad you asked. Some folks think my underwear is unraveling and are worried their curiosity might embarrass me. Nothing of the sort. While many Jews wear a “Tallit” prayer shawl at the Synagogue, some Jews wear a mini-version called “Tzitzis” under the shirt, all the time. It’s a Biblical commandment, and is supposed to serve as a reminder to fulfill all the other good things. There is actually a lot of significance to the exact number of strings, knots and more. (I am planning a workshop one day, so that we can make them ourselves).
