As part of this year’s Jewish Social Action Month (JSAM) project: A4A@A – Action for Addiction at Albany, a group of Shabbos House students put a fresh coat(s) of paint on the living room/lounge at Hope House’s center for Women and Children on Madison Ave. In addition funds were raised at the Walk for both Hope House and Senior Hope, but this letter appreciating the paint job came in first.
Dear Rabbi Rubin and students of Shabbos House,
I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you; and your group from Shabbos House, for painting the living room at our Women’s & Children’s Program on the 21st of October. As a non-for-profit organization, Hope House relies upon and benefits from the good deeds and generosity of others. The “fresh look” that you provided to that room is truly appreciated by us and all the women who will use it.
Thank you again for all of your hard work.
Sincerely,
Kevin M. Connally, Executive Director
