Each year we try to share some Rebbe stories and inspiration in honor of the Rebbe’s Gimmel (3rd of) Tammuz yartzeit (anniversary of passing) as a way to connect with the Rebbe, and be inspired.
In addition to the links we shared for Gimmel Tammuz 2019, and another set of meaningful Rebbe links from back in 2016, below are a few more links to stories and inspiration or Rebbe messages that we shared more recently that perhaps may be meaningful to you as well:
Uncle’s Ira’s Thank You is a story and inspired impression that happened this year on the eve of Gimmel (3rd of) Tammuz with a UAlbany connection.
As we continue to pray and work towards Mendel’s father’s continued recovery and strengthening, here are two links relating to his Rebbe connection: The One Rebbe Teaching Game-Changer and the 1979 Vayeitzei-Vayishlach letter.
Here’s a link to 6 short videos with background of Rebbe pictures in our home that we did for Gimmel Tammuz of 2020, still viewable over Facebook Live (even without Facebook).
And a thought about an unusual Shana Tova Card. And one about being aware of a friend’s needs.
And a PDF collection of personal thoughts and inspiration about what going to the Rebbe’s Ohel means (to us).
Visiting the Rebbe’s Ohel gravesite in Queens is close and accessible to many of our students and alumni. See OhelChabad.org for directions, details and info. It is also possible (and we do this often) to email letters that are discreetly and confidentially placed at the Rebbe’s Ohel: Use this online form or simply write an email letter to Ohel@OhelChabad.com
So much more to share, but that’s it for now!
